iLearnt: Sometimes friends can be the reason life sucks

Don't get me wrong here, I love all of my friends, but is it really worth the happiness when you have double the pain amidst a fight? I do not want to get into details right now, but sometimes I envy those who chose to have no one, they do not have to go through the agony of losing someone.

iLearnt: How to say "dollar" in a Chinese accent

Not to be racist to Jameson or anything, but today Alice and I were discussing accents, and randomly the Chinese accent came up. We were talking, and finally came up with they way to say "dollar" in a Chinese accent, "Dah-ow-lah". Basically, we realized many Chinese people "cut up their sentences", her words not mine.

iLearnt: When things are lost, let them go

Yesterday (Sunday), I realized my math notebook was missing. I searched high and low at home and could not find it, so I decided it was probably in my locker. The next day (today) I went to school and checked my locker, and guess what! It was not there either... Then I checked my homeroom class, no such luck. Math class, nothing. Science, nada. Language, zip. I even checked the smelly old lost and found and no such luck. I guess it is gone. All my notes... GONE! I suppose I should get over it, I just feel so sad. I had a lot of important sheets in there. **Sniffs** Oh well, it was a math book, math= evil.

iLearnt: Never leave your laptop open when you are not using it

As you all probably know by now, I broke a $400.00, limited edition, Tiffany lamp yesterday. I feel really bad about it, but the funny thing is, my laptop is being blamed for it. I have noticed that my parents seem to despise my computer and blame everything on it, which is why yesterday when my laptop was on my bed, turned on, although I was reading a book, it was blamed for being my "distraction" and the cause for me breaking the lamp. I know this probably makes zero sense, but they honestly HATE it. They took it away from me too, although I am being sneaky and am on it right now. Anyway, the main thing, when you are not using the computer, turn it off.

iLearnt: I have an ear infection

For the past few days I have been complaining (mostly to myself) that one of my ears is blocked, feeling like I just went swimming and there is still water in my ear. Well, I finally decided to talk to my parents about it, and discovered **drumrolls** I have an ear infection. Apparently bacteria has gone into my ear and I will need antibiotics to get rid of it, and if I do not take care of it soon I can lose some hearing in my left ear. Also, the stuffy nose I had all week was not because I had a cold, it was a symptom of my ear infection! Anyway, I am trying to convince my mom to take me to the doctor, but she does not believe me... Thank goodness my dad does, and he even took the time to look at the research I had gathered, even if it was for only 2 minutes. Well, I hope I get well soon, I can not make out any noise throughout one ear and I was just told not to "yell"...

Introduction

Based on a conversation I had with a friend yesterday, I decided to create a new blog for "what I learnt today", based on the popular saying "You learn something everyday". I will do my best to post everyday, and if I do not I will make up for it.
